A shooting gallery in the oldest sense: targets cross the screen, you have a limited number of shots, and accuracy is the only thing measured. The birds fly at randomised speeds and angles, so there is no pattern to memorise and no way to fake competence.
The reload mechanic is what gives it rhythm. You cannot simply hold the trigger down — each shot is followed by a deliberate reload, which turns a twitch game into a game about choosing which target is worth the shot you have.
MarketJS track your statistics across sessions so you can see whether your hit rate is genuinely improving. The developers note plainly that no actual ducks were harmed in the making of it.
