This page explains what is stored on your device when you use the site.
Strictly necessary storage. Some games save your progress locally in the browser so that a board you left half-finished is still there when you return. This data stays on your device and is not read by us.
Measurement. We record aggregate statistics about which pages are visited and which games are opened. This tells us which parts of the catalogue are worth expanding. It is counted in aggregate rather than tied to a named individual.
Advertising. The site is funded by advertising, and advertising partners may set their own cookies to control how often an advert is shown and to measure whether it worked. Those cookies are set by the advertising provider, under their own policies, not by us.
Third-party games. Games run in an embedded frame served by their distribution platform, which may set its own storage in order to run the game and save progress.
Your control. Every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies and local storage, usually under privacy settings. Blocking storage for this site will not stop the games running, but some of them will forget your progress between visits.
