The structure is fixed and stated up front: ten levels, seven differences in each, sixty seconds a level. That last number is what separates this from the relaxed end of the genre — a minute is enough to find five differences comfortably and not quite enough to find seven without a method.
Pictures are drawn illustrations of yard scenes rather than photographs, which keeps the differences fair. Changes are in objects and colours, not in single pixels, so nothing depends on your screen being calibrated.
It is described by its makers as educational, and there is something in that: sustained visual comparison under mild time pressure is a real attention exercise. But it works just as well as a short game for an adult with five minutes to spend.
