Nothing about the card play has been reinvented. You still clear overlapping peaks by taking anything one rank above or below the face-up card, aces still wrap, and the stock still bails you out when the board dries up. New maps, new crops and rotating seasonal packs carry the sense of progress.

When two chains are available, take the one that exposes a face-down card. Turning cards over is what keeps a deal alive; scoring can wait.
